Facts & Figures Element
Standard layout
- General tab: Here you can define the content for the Standard (with color accents) variant.
- Header: Enter a short, meaningful header. It helps visitors grasp the content more quickly. In the Type field, you can also set the header hierarchy (e.g., H2, H3). Select Hidden to display the header only in the backend. This helps you locate the content element in the backend. Website visitors will not see a hidden header.
- Accent colors: Select an accent color for the element. University blue covers the entire fact in blue. The other colors are displayed as stripes at the top of the fact.
- Fact title: Enter a concise title (e.g., Students, Departments, master's theses).
- Fact unit presented (optional): Enter a unit that is displayed before the number (e.g., “approx.”).
- Fact number: Enter the desired number. Numbers are automatically formatted with thousand separators (e.g.,
100000→ 100,000). Decimal numbers must be entered manually with commas (e.g., 2.8). - Fact unit appended (optional): Enter a unit to be displayed after the number (e.g., %, km, €).
Text: Add a short accompanying text. You can edit and format the text in the editor (bold, italics). Keep the text short so that the focus remains on the numbers.
Scroll up and click Save.
Banner layout
- General tab: Here you can design the element with a background image.
- Header: Insert a short, meaningful header. This helps visitors to grasp the content more quickly. Select Hidden to display the header only in the backend. This helps you to find the content element in the backend. Visitors to the website will not see a hidden header.
- Background image: Open the Appearance tab and select the Banner option under Layout. Then switch back to the General tab and select a suitable background image from the file list.
- Text: Insert a short, concise information text about the facts and figures.
- Facts & figures: Click on + Set up new to set up a new fact.
- Fact title: Enter a concise title (e.g., students, departments, awards).
- Fact unit presented (optional): Enter a unit that is displayed before the number (e.g., “approx.”).
- Fact number: Enter the desired number. Numbers are automatically formatted with thousand separators (e.g.,
100000→ “100,000”). Decimal numbers must be entered manually with a comma (e.g., “2.8”). - Fact unit appended (optional): Enter a unit that will be displayed after the number (e.g., %, km, €).

Save: Scroll up and click Save.
Define appearance
- Appearance tab: Here you can specify how the content element is displayed.
- Alternative background: Activate the slider to give the content element a light gray background.
- Show links in menus: If you set up a table of contents on the page, the header of the content element will appear in it as a link.
- Add link to top of page: Inserts a “Back to top” link at the end of the element.
Set publication
- Access tab: Here you can control the visibility of the content element on the website.
- Visibility: Activate the slider to show or hide the content element on the website.
- Publication date: Specify when the content element should be published automatically. This is helpful if you want the publication to take place while you are away.
- Expiration date: Enter a date from which the content element will no longer be displayed.
- Access rights for user groups: Determine whether the content element is only visible to registered users.
