Quotes Element
- General tab: Here you can define the basic text and content for the element.
- Header: Enter a short, meaningful header. It helps visitors grasp the content more quickly. In the Type field, you can also set the header hierarchy (e.g., H2, H3). Select Hidden to display the header only in the backend. This helps you locate the content element in the backend. Website visitors will not see a hidden header.
- Quote source: You can add quotes in three ways:
Select individual quotes: Select existing quotes from the list view. To do this, first set up a folder with quotes:
- Switch to the List view (to the left of the page tree). Click on the page or location in the page tree where you want to place the folder (e.g., Root page Website or Collection folder Data). Right-click on the selected location → New. Select the insertion position (e.g., Before or After). In the New Wizard, select Folder. Name the folder.
- In the workspace, click on Set Up New Record and select the record type Quote.
Add inline quotes: Set up quotes directly in the content element. Click on + Set up new under Quotes and fill in the following fields:
- Tagline: Additional subtitle or short note about the quote.
- Language: Specify the language of the quote.
- Quotes: Enter the desired quote.
- Author: Name of the person who said or wrote the quote.
- Assignment: Context or organization to which the quote belongs.
- Link text & link (optional): Additional link with descriptive link text.
- Image (optional): Add an image of the person or a thematic image. To do this, follow the user guides in Adding and managing images.

- Appearance tab: Here you can specify how the content element is displayed.
- Alternative background: Activate the slider to give the content element a light gray background.

- Add link to top of page: Inserts a “Back to top” link at the end of the element.
Set publication
- Access tab: Here you can control the visibility of the content element on the website.
- Visibility: Activate the slider to show or hide the content element on the website.
