The menu plug-ins Subpages, Section Index and Sitemap dynamically display existing pages from the page tree and update automatically when changes are made to the page structure.

Subpages

  1. Header: Enter a short, descriptive heading. This helps visitors grasp the content more quickly. Select Hidden to display the heading only in the backend. This helps you locate the content element in the backend. Website visitors will not see a hidden heading.
  2. Selected pages: Here, select the page(s) in the page tree whose subpages are to be displayed. Click on the folder icon and select the desired page(s).
  3. Recursive: Specify here how many sub-levels of the selected subpage should also be displayed. “0” means: Only the directly selected pages are displayed. “1” means: Their direct subpages are also included. The higher the value, the deeper the page structure is included.

Section index

  1. Header: Enter a short, descriptive heading. This helps visitors grasp the content more quickly. Select Hidden to display the heading only in the backend. This helps you locate the content element in the backend. Website visitors will not see a hidden heading.
  2. Selected Pages: Select the page(s) in the page tree that you want to display in the section index. Click on the folder icon and select the desired page(s).

Sitemap

The Sitemap content element is used to display a sitemap on a website. Just like the table of contents, it can be expanded and collapsed with a single click.

Only one header can be set in the element itself. The sitemap is inserted automatically by the system.

Define appearance

  1. Appearance tab: Here you can specify how the content element is displayed.
  2. Alternative background: Activate the slider to add a light gray background to the content element.
  3. Show in Section Menus: If you create a table of contents on the page, the header of the content element appears in it as a link.
  4. Append with Link to Top of Page: Inserts a “Back to top” link at the end of the element.

Set publication

Access tab: Here you can control the visibility of the content element on the website.

  1. Visibility of content element: Activate the slider to show or hide the content element on the website.
  2. Publish date: Specify when the content element should be published automatically. This is helpful if you want the publication to take place while you are away.
  3. Expiration date: Enter a date after which the content element will no longer be displayed.
  4. Usergroup Access Rights: Determine whether the content element is only visible to registered users.
